Parts & Accessories Manager

Bartons Wynnum & Brisbane Camperland Divisions


Lead parts and accessories across one of Brisbane's most established automotive groups and Australia's largest Jayco dealer.

Bartons Motor Group and Brisbane Camperland are looking for an experienced Parts & Accessories Manager to lead the parts operations across our Bartons Wynnum as well as support our long term Parts Manager at Brisbane Camperland divisions.

This is a key leadership opportunity with a long-standing family business. Bartons has proudly supported Brisbane's bayside for more than 80 years, while Brisbane Camperland is recognised as Australia's largest Jayco dealer.


About the role

Reporting to senior management, you will be responsible for the day-to-day leadership, performance, stock control and ongoing development of the parts and accessories operations across Bartons Wynnum and Brisbane Camperland.

With experienced senior staff already in place across both parts departments, this role gives you the opportunity to step back from the day-to-day and focus on working on the business — driving performance, improving processes and taking our already successful operations to the next level.

Our parts operations extend well beyond internal dealership support. We also run a highly successful wholesale trade operation, which is ready for its next stage of growth. In time, you will also gain exposure to our Capalaba operations, including Bartons' core business and our newly opened TJM store.

You will oversee the team across the two divisions and take ownership of procurement, inventory management, internal parts support, retail sales, accessories, parts store activity and e-commerce opportunities. We see enormous opportunities for the right person to accelerate our online/ecommerce opportunities and also leverage our industry leading AI projects to take our Parts and Accessories business to the next level.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Leading, coaching and supporting the parts team across both divisions
  • Managing stock levels, purchasing, procurement and supplier relationships
  • Driving retail, internal, trade and online parts and accessories sales
  • Supporting workshop, service and sales departments with timely parts supply
  • Maintaining strong inventory control, reporting and margin performance
  • Improving processes, systems and customer experience
  • Supporting growth opportunities across automotive, caravan, motorhome and RV parts channels
  • Ensuring a positive, safe and customer-focused team culture

About you

You will be an experienced Parts Manager who enjoys leading people, improving operations and delivering strong commercial outcomes.

The ideal candidate will bring:

  • Previous dealership parts management experience
  • Minimum 5 years of dealership parts management experience is required
  • Proven multi-site leadership experience
  • Minimum 3-4 years of multi-site leadership experience is required
  • Automotive parts experience, with RV, caravan or accessories experience highly regarded
  • Strong inventory management and stock control capability
  • Experience with retail, internal and trade parts sales
  • Experience with Wholesale and Trade sales
  • Confidence using dealer management systems
  • Proven experience with dealer management systems is mandatory
  • E-commerce or online parts sales experience highly regarded
  • Strong communication, organisation and leadership skills
  • A proactive, hands-on approach and a genuine customer service mindset
  • The ability to work across multiple departments and business divisions
This role requires an experienced Parts Manager with proven multi-site leadership experience, strong commercial capability and the confidence to drive performance across both automotive and RV parts operations.
